George Reeves Will In the Name of God amen I GEORGE REVE of Prince William
County Commonwealth of VA. Considering the uncertainty of this world life
and being weak in body but of sound mind and memory I do make and ordain
this to be my last will and testament (vez?) First and --principally I
recommend my soul into the hands ofGod, and any body decently buried by my
executors and automy wordly goods so dispose of them as follows. Imfninus?
it is my will and I ordain that all my just debts be paid and satisified.
Then I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife JANE REEVE all
profits- rents advantages both from my real and personal estate of what
kind soever as long as she remains my widow, with full power to hold
possession thereof, and to give in possession to my children when she
thinks proper those parts or legacies hereafter-mentioned, she making no
willful waste or fraud of the same.

Item, I give and bequeath unto my beloved son WILLIAM REEVE the middle
tract or plantation situate lying and being in Fauquire County containing
100 acres be the same assigns left to him and his heirs and assigns
forever.

Item, I give and bequeath onto my beloved daughter JEMIMA wife of NICHOLAS
MOONEY, the planation whereon they now live, to her, her heirs and assigns
forever.

Item, I give and bequeath to my bloved sons JAMES and JONATHAN REEVE that
tract or planation situate lying and being at Shanadore the older to have
the choice of them to the these heirs I assigns forever.

Item, I give and bequeath to my- beloved son (JESSE)(JESUA)JOSHUA, the
planation whereon I now live to him his heirs and assigns forever. but
with a reserve of four- acres which I give and bequeath to ADAM FONERSON?
minister of the gosphel and his successors.

Item, I give and bequeath unto my beloved sons JOSHUA, NOAH, and an unborn
that Plantation or piece of land situate lying and being at (Occuquan?) to
them and their heirs and assigns forever to be equally divided between
them as to quality and quantity (-----) but in case of default of non
issue in unborn then such part to return to my beloved daughter SUSANNAH.

Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter SUSANNAH one hundred
pounds current money of Virginia to be paid at the decease of her mother
by my executors and as touching the remainder of my personal estate it is
my desire that the same shall be equally divided among my children. And
lastly I do will and ordain my dearly beloved wife, JANE REEVE and my
beloved son WILLIAM executors of this my last will and testament, revoking
and disannulling all-former wills by me made and whereunto I have set my
hand and seal.

At a court held for Prince William County the 2nd Aug 1779. This last will
and Testament of George Reeve decd was presented to the court by the Exec
and Ppors herein named who made oath thereto according to law and being
proved by the oath of JESSE(Josoa) SMITH is admitted to record and the
Pors Exec having complied with the law certificate is granted them for
