This indenture made and entered into by and between JOHN REEVES and MARGARET W. REEVES wife of said Reeves of the county of Green and state of Kentucky as party of the first part. ISHAM REEVES of aforesaid County and estate as party of the second part. Witneseth that for and in consideration of nine hundred and fifty dollars one hundred and fifty dollars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged: four hundred dollars one year after date and four hundred dollars two years after date each note bearing interest from date. The party of the first part have this day bargained sold and conveyed unto the party of the second part a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Green and aforesaid state on the waters of Brush Creek and bounded as follows to wit Beginning at two dog woods and chestnut a corner of Jeff Hazell in the tract he purchased of L. M. Buckuer thereas North 65 East 112 to Post oak sea oak and hickory. Corner to said tract purchased by Hazell thereas North 45 East 74 poles to a stake and sea oak. Past oak in Warring old line of one thousand acres about 28 poles North 45 West from the two Post oaks sea oaks which was first markes for a division line corner. Thereas with the old line of Womingo North 45 West 152 poles to these white oak saplings his corner. Thereas South 19 West 208 poles to a chestnut hickory and dogwood Linville corner thereas South 71 East 24 poles to the beginning containing one hundred and six acres left the amount of acres sold to W. G. Mop to have and hold said tract of land with all of the apparteuances therecuuto belonging unto the party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and MARGARET W. REEVES wife of the said JOHN REEVES hereby waives and relinguished all right and title to drawer and homestead in said land, according to her from any law of the state and we the party of the first part agace and coverant with the party of the second part to warrant and deferred the title to said land gucerally.\ Given under our hands this 5th day of November 1887. Reeves to Isham Reeves was on the 5th day of November 1887 before Lewis Perkins a deputy Clerk for said county acknowledged by the said John Reeves and his wife Margaret W. Reeves to be their act and deed as affears from an endorsement of said deputy said mortage in words and figures as follows: "Acknowledge in full by John Reeves and Margaret W. Reeves his wife this November 5th 1887 A.J. Perkins Clslele by Lewis Perkins DC" and that the same with this Certificate is truly recorded in my office this 14th day of November 1887.
